EPISODE 166 : Norman Nomad Gets Stopped At The Border
Time to pull up a new episode of your favorite music podcast! This episode is a lot of fun. I start things off with a bizarre conversation/argument between G. Gordon Liddy and Dr. Timothy Leary. I have no idea of what the circumstances were to bring these two together, but it’s a fascinating exchange. Or, at least, I think it is.
Also included, is a mild rant about how those who clap to emphasize their story in conversation, tend to tap dance on my nerves. Musically, we hear from Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile, The Moody Blues, Judy Garland, The Oscar Peterson Trio, Gary Numan, Patti Smith, The Meters and MUCH MORE!
I always enjoy doing episodes of the podcast. It is truly something that tends to reflect who I am more than some of my other endeavors. Sorry about that…Or, you’re welcome. However that works. Lol. Thanks for listening and for continuing to return to the website!
EPISODE 167 : The Sun’s Revenge And It’s Ugly Truth
The second episode in one recording session. Thanks for listening. There is much going on in this episode. We begin in Detroit. The first set of music is Detroit “soaked”… I pay tribute to a true Canadian artist who wrote songs that the entire world has celebrated and have become part of the fabric of the American Songbook.
A story surfaces from a dear friend which details an attempt at high school level indie radio… I’d like to thank Brian Distefano for his contribution to this episode.
We also hear from Elvis Costello, The Nightcaps, Dream Academy, Dreams So Real, The White Stripes, Marvin Gaye, Henry Rollins With Bad Brains, and MUCH MORE!
Thank you for continued support and for listening!
