EPISODE 132 : You Can't Roll A Joint On A Digital Download (Part 1)

These next few episodes became something that I had a small idea for. It then became more and more organic. What you'll hear here is an exploration into the effects that drugs, both legal/illegal have had on Pop Culture. To me, that includes music, film, literature, television, art, etc... It was a bit of work to get this where I wanted it. I'm so glad I took the time, however. Much is covered here, Cheech & Chong on a game show, The Doors get thrown out of a record label office, Neil Young & Crazy Horse roll one up, Sir Doug can see it in your face, Kim Fowley's many hats, Bo Diddley influenced the New York Dolls, Doug Stanhope starts the argument where it starts, The Coasters channel a Genius, a child star becomes a pop star that sees the realities of addiction, while writing a hit record about it... and MUCH more! Thanks for listening!
