EPISODE 153 : (713)

Looking back at the over the 150 plus episodes that I’ve recorded of this endeavor, it strikes me funny as to the times of day in which I normally record these. I think I’ve recorded at least one episode at almost every part of the day or night. This one, and 154, were recorded almost as an afterthought at about 1:00 AM. It had been a long day, and I wasn’t in the mood. Then, at about midnight, I got some sort of second wind and felt like I wanted to record. So here I am. Whenever you might personally listen to this podcast, thank you for doing so. I’m so proud of these.

This episode was a lot of fun. I focus a bit on “(713) Day” and honor some of the music that has come from this fair city. Look out for Father John Misty, Young Girls, Bill Hicks, Murray The “K” wasn’t much of a musician, or “the 5th Beatle”, however, he recorded a great record for Red Bird. Mike Stinson feels like he’s died and woke up on the slab, also- I do a tribute to Depeche Mode’s Andy Fletcher. It’s also hotter than hot dog water in Houston. Hope you enjoy.
