EPISODE 100 : "I've Told You 100 Times"

I never thought in a hundred years, that I’d be writing this. This podcast was really just an idea that flourished and worked out. I have done my best to keep with my original vision of it reflecting the world I live in, what’s going on within any random day in my life, and what music I’ve been listening to. It’s been so great to share these things with you all. The podcast strives to continue on its path of being a music blog, mix tape, audio journal, and exercise in radio style all wrapped in one. This episode was treated as if it were an LP. There are 2 parts of this celebration: Side 1/Side 2! There is a lot happening here. MANY friends sent in “congratulations”-type messages. It was humbling and a lot of fun to hear others take the Mic for a bit. I love having friends and family involved in the podcast. Included in our celebration is Willie Nelson, in honor of ADITL being recorded in Texas, a brand new single by my friend, Brian Whelan, I “save a prayer” from the first episode, Henry Phillips gets priorities right in the face of the apocalypse, The Raveonettes, Terence Trent D’Arby, De La Soul, Words from James Baldwin start the episode, Dada sing about a bar in S.F., Elvis Presley had a beautiful voice, Radiohead gets into a vibe that only they can find, Peter Green, Patty Griffin, David Bowie records a demo for a song that was far from home, the question comes to mind: Do bands still set goals to be on the cover of a music magazine? John Fulbright, The Cinderellas, and the Beatles are heard doing a song that, surprisingly has never been played in it’s entirety as a master recording on this podcast. It’s all here, and more! I hope you enjoy the 100 episode as much as I enjoyed recording it! A new leaf turns a bit on 101! Thank you all for continued support. “LIKE” our FB page! Take care of yourselves and one another. Things are tough, but hang in there, guys!
