I thoroughly enjoyed doing this podcast. It was easy and seemed to flow pretty well from my perspective. After a bit of an unexpected break, I brought all kinds of things to the table this time around. Things to look out for: An original demo by David Bowie, Siouxsie & The Banshees ask for lip service assistance, Slint leave something obvious behind, Dr. John trips at night and walks carefully, Bruce Springsteen records demos that become his best record (in my opinion) from his bedroom. Byron Lee makes a great appearance, The Swan Silvertone Singers bring it to church, and I pay tribute to the golden girl group voice of Ronnie Spector. I take a look at her great sound, a bit of her story, and many that she influenced and influenced her. I hope you find this to be a good listen. I enjoyed it so much, that it continues into #145! Just a couple clicks away.
