Episodes #151 AND #152 were recorded back-to-back! I found myself often mentioning how nice it was to be back with you all. My recent absence from new episodes was due to having lost my voice for a few weeks, which put me in a tailspin. All is good now, however. I have 85% of my voice and now you may not shut me up. Ha!
This episode is pretty packed with all kinds of things. We start with a pledge. I might add that the first set is a tribute to the Mouse and his empire! Roger Miller, Tom Waits, Shinyribs, Louis Armstrong and Los Lobos take their hats off and salute Disney. Throughout the episode, we hear a tale about 7 Rooms Of Gloom, Jon Brion’s solo record is hard to find, Al “Jazzbo” Collins talks of American Discovery, Brook Benton finds his inner Charlie Rich, Joe Hinton sings Willie, Thomas Wayne can be tragic, Chan Romero’s demo was even killer, the Rosebuds from North Carolina, and much more. Thank you for listening!
